A coffee table book is an oversized, usually hard-covered book for display on a table intended to entertain guests and maybe inspire conversation. The books are usually non-fiction and pictorial or a photo-book.
In the new age of technology this type of book, or any printed book for that matter, is becoming obsolete. Everything is now on some sort of electronic device. So I thought I would join this new age of technology and share my version of a coffee table book - Jeep Momma's Virtual Coffee Table Book.
I have a love for photography and with all our smart phones equipped with cameras, taking a picture has become easier, and seems to be the a new rage in our world. We are now recording almost every aspect of our lives, from the simple mundane events, to the super freaky. Along with that has come the new version of a self portrait - called the Selfie.
I have decided to make the subject of my Virtual Coffee Table Book -- A compilation of Jeep Momma Selfies.
And the perfect beginning is my trip to San Francisco in Northern California.
This trip was a long deserved trip for my husband and I. It is our first trip without our kids in fifteen years. Shame on us! We let time pass us by and now realize life is too short to put things off. So we took advantage of a business meeting he had in San Francisco and made it a long four day weekend - A mini-vacation for just the two of us.
So this is where I begin my Virtual Coffee Table Book.
