Pacific Coast Drive

Gasing up before we hit Highway 1 up the Pacific Coast in Northern California.

We had to make a little detour through the Muir Woods because of flood damage on Highway 1.

We stopped at the side of the road to check out the scenery. It was an unbelievable serene, peaceful, quiet in the woods. Words can't even begin to describe the sounds. It was unlike any other forest sounds I have ever experienced.

Muir Woods, Northern California. Sometimes I prefer my sunglasses on because you don't see as many wrinkles.

Stinson Beach, Northern California

Once again I am amazed at how the sound of the Pacific Ocean is vastly different than the Atlantic Ocean. Even the noise of the crashing waves were a serene peaceful sound.

Trying out my rock climbing skills.

Watching the waves crash against the huge rocks along the shoreline was extremely meditative.

The view at the Sonoma Coast State Park is breathtaking.

It was really hard to leave the beautiful shoreline of the Pacific Coast in Northern California.
